Oregon Concealed Handgun
This short in-person course covers the safety requirements mandated by ORS 166.2910 (Section C) as a condition of applying for your Oregon Concealed Handgun License (resident or non-resident. Requires non-residents be residents of contiguously bordering states). instruction is by an NRA-certified pistol intructor.
The course covers handgun parts and operation, safety considerations, basic marksmanship principles, pointers to Oregon law on concealed carry, and lawful use of force in self defense.
Cost: $45
Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
Pre-requisites: Open mind and safety consciousness
Class Format: Lecure and questions
Materials needed: Note-taking materials, eyeglasses or hearing aids if needed. You may bring your handgun, it should be unloaded and cased. -
Utah Concealed Weapons Permit
This in-person course covers the requirements for the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigation to issue a Utah CWP (resident and non-resident)
The course covers handgun parts and safe operation, ammunition concerns, safe storage, carrying a handgun in public, laws of Utah on self defense and use of force, basic marksmanship and other firearms handling concerns.
Covers Utah and Federal Statutes on firearms. Instruction is by an UT BCI-certified/NRA-certified pistol intructor. Note- Instructor has no employment or contract relationship with UT BCI or the NRA
